Dog people are special people, and no one gets us quite like other dog lovers who share our "unique "passion for canines.

One day, you're adopting your first puppy, and before you know it, you're knee-deep in dog fur and have more jackets for your dogs than you do for yourself. The slope from dog admirer to dog devotee is a slippery one, and once you go down it, there's no coming back. But it's okay, you don't have to worry about traveling down this path. We're here to welcome you, and so is this canine curation of memes.

We have a feeling you'll relate to these howlarious posts if any of the following are true: you let your dog sleep on your bed, you buy them any sort of clothing, you would rather be at home with them than out with people, you cancel plans because your dog(s) had a bad day, you drive more than 30 minutes to get to your dog's favorite park/beach/trail, or you make your own dog treats. There are, of course, many more, but these were just the ones that we could think of off the tops of our heads. We're not ashamed to say that all of these are true for us.

Who in their right mind would say dogs are a waste of money? They're an investment into our happiness, and simultaneously the reason we go to therapy. Yes, they make us happy and crazy at the same time. You would too if you came home to as many destroyed pillows and couches as we have over the years. When they're good, they're great, but when they're bad, they're terrible.

We don't understand why people don't put the effort in to train their dogs. It's not even that hard. Dogs have been quite literally bred to be easily trained. All you have to do is invest some time, effort, and a lot of treats into it. If you can train them when they're puppies, it's even easier because puppies, like kids, learn very quickly due to their brain development at a young age! And yet, people still don't do it.
